Enter tips or suggestions for the use of Bible Mapper on this page. Separate tips with a horizontal line. If you wish, include your name in parentheses at the end of your post.
Tip 1: I find it hard to "select" an object on a map if I don't click exactly on the right point. An easier way is to use Tools > Find (or use CTRL-F) to locate and automatically select the site you wish to duplicate/edit. (mgvh)
Tip 2: The Show/Hide (CTRL-R) is a very powerful feature in Bible Mapper. You can show/hide by selecting individual items or by general groups: Cities, Rivers, Boundaries, Georegions, Peaks, Routes.
- Note that "Lakes" are another group but missing from the categories.
- Note that, as with most other Windows applications, you can select multiple items by using the CTRL key as you mouse click. You can also pick a range by clicking on one item then using SHIFT click to choose everything in between.
- Note that it is easy to discern the "custom" objects you have created from the default ones that come with the program.
