Version 4 upgrade questions

Some questions regarding version 4 and upgrading:

Do I understand rightly that terrain tiles are only available for Israel?
1. I think this applies to both versions 3 and 4. There are 90meter and 500meter terrain tiles available for the whole Medit. region. There are also "15meter Geocover" tiles, but those are the ones that are only available for Israel. The 90meters are pretty good and the ones you would likely use for most map work.
I started with v.2 and have been using the tiles for the other countries in v.3 without all its updates. Would I be able to use them in v.4?
1. Others may know better, but I think the tiles are the same. I know I have used my v3 tiles in v4.
Does v.4 have the .mao (current country outlines) to place over the custom map?
1. Yes, "countries.mao" still works, but I have to manually type it when opening it as a template. (I.e., it doesn't show up on my list of templates since it does not have the .mat extension.) You can solve this problem by renaming the extension to .MAT. (But note that this may cause another conflict if you have Microsoft Access, since it uses the .MAT extension...)
